BYD presents XXL electric bus K12A
BYD has introduced what they are calling the longest electric bus in the world. The K12A is 27 metres long, seats 250 passengers, has a top speed of 70 km/h and a range of 300 kilometres. The XXL bus was primarily developed for the South American market, for example for large cities such as Bogotá.

BYD puts electric truck factory plans in Canada on hold
BYD has put their electric truck factory in the Canadian province of Ontario on hold. The initial plan had been to open the electric truck facility next year and to employ at least 40 people. This will not happen for now but perhaps in future.
